We welcome you to worship with us, even if you belong to another faith tradition or have no faith tradition.
Baptism is the sacrament by which we become full members of the church. If you were baptized in another Christian denomination, we recognize the validity of your baptism. If you’ve never been baptized and would like to be, talk to one of our clergy. We offer baptism several times a year. We baptize infants, children, and adults. We usually baptize people by pouring water over their heads.
Confirmation is the sacrament by which we express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit. We encourage people who were baptized as infants or children, or who were baptized in another Christian denomination, to be confirmed. Speak to one of our clergy if you would like to receive confirmation. We offer confirmation once a year when the bishop visits. During confirmation, the bishop will lay his hands on your head and pray for you.
If you are a member of another Episcopal parish and would like to transfer your membership to St. Thomas, please talk to one of our clergy.
We encourage our members to attend worship weekly and to make a financial pledge to support the work of the parish.
