Worship
Holy Eucharist
Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings is the core of our worship as Episcopalians. During the service, we hear readings from the Bible, listen to a sermon, offer prayers for ourselves and others, confess our sins, exchange greetings of peace, and share communion. We welcome everyone, regardless of their faith tradition, to receive the bread and wine at God’s table.
We don’t have a “dress code.” Some of us like to wear our “Sunday best,” but most of us dress casually. Come in whatever clothes are comfortable for you.
Book of Common Prayer
The Book of Common Prayer is our guide for how we worship. If you’re familiar with the Roman Catholic mass, you’ll see a lot of similarities to our rites.
The Book of Common Prayer also provides resources for corporate and individual worship throughout the week.
